While we don't want to give away any more spoilers, we will say that Madcap Motel is a kid-friendly experience that'll delight children of all ages - scroll through the gallery above for a peek inside the eye-popping "vacation" spot. (Pro tip: We dare you to get the hedge person to dance.) Step into one of the many rooms and you'll stumble upon photogenic walls, halls, and spaces that where a push of a button will activate fun surprises, or a peek behind a nondescript door will reveal even more to explore. Your first stop on the time-bending voyage is a lush green courtyard that's buzzing with Madcap Motel's zany residents, who'll chat you up with amusing tales and recommendations. From there, you'll be checked into room 233, where you'll find an otherworldly portal that leads to the alternate universe of Elsewhere. The journey begins in the motel lobby, where you'll be greeted by the gregarious staff at the front desk. We had a chance to tour the 17,000-square-foot Arts District attraction earlier this week and discovered a theatrical adventure filled with amusing characters, interactive corners, and more.
